이번 작품은 TMS 스포츠 테마 애니메이션 시리즈 중 마지막 작품으로, 이전에 방영된 "스타 오브 더 자이언츠"가 첫 번째였습니다.
낮은 시청률로 인해 원작 만화의 후반부 에피소드들이 방영되기 전에 방영이 중단되었습니다.

Based on Hiroshi Kaizuka's manga.
The last TMS sports-themed anime series ("Star of the Giants" was the first).
Because of low ratings, the series was pulled off the air before later episodes of the original manga could be adapted.
