1940년대에 지구를 공격한 외계 세력 '뉴로이'의 침략으로 세상이 파괴되자, 한 남자가 마법력을 증폭시키고 비행을 가능하게 하는 '스트라이크 유닛'이라는 반뉴로이 무기를 발명합니다. 이 유닛은 마녀들의 빗자루처럼 보이는 기계적인 하체 장치를 통해 작동합니다. 전 세계의 젊은 마녀들이 '스트라이크 위츠'라는 부대를 결성하여 반격에 나섭니다. 그러나 발명자는 임무 중 사망한 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 그의 딸은 평범한 삶을 살지만, 잠재된 엄청난 마법 능력을 치유에 활용하려 합니다. 어느 날 갑자기 그녀는 아버지가 살아 있을지도 모른다는 희망을 품고 여행을 떠나게 되고, 아버지의 발명품과 자신이 그 힘을 사용할 수 있을지도 모른다는 가능성에 직면하게 됩니다.

When an alien force eventually called the “Neuroi” attacks Earth around the 1940’s, the world is devastated by destruction. However, one man is able to lead the invention of an anti-Neuroi weapon known as the “Striker unit” which augments magical power and also enables flight through two mechanical lower-leg coverings known as a sort of witches “broom”. Young witches from around the world are gathered together to fight back in a force known as Strike Witches. The inventor, however, was thought to have been killed during service. The daughter of the inventor leads a relatively normal life except for her untrained and incredible magical power which she hopes to use one day in healing. However, she is suddenly whisked away on a search to see if her father is actually alive. She encounters his invention and the possibility of perhaps using it herself.
