한국어 번역용맹한 검의 섬광 -IZUMO-
타케루는 부모님을 잃은 후 토우마 가문의 집에서 자랐다. 가문의 수장인 토우마 로쿠노스케에게 길러졌다. 켄도부 소속의 최고의 친구이자 라이벌인 야마토 다케시, 시로토리 자매인 코토노와 아사쿠사, 그리고 어린 시절 친구 오슈 세리와 함께 행복한 일상을 보냈다. 그러나 어느 날 학교에 지진이 발생하며 모든 것이 바뀌기 시작했다. 타케루는 학교가 마치 수백 년 동안 버려져 폐허가 된 듯 변한 것을 발견하고, 교사와 학생들 모두 사라진 것을 알게 된다. 세리와 아사쿠사와 함께 폐허에서 도망치다가, 그들이 살던 마을이 완전히 비어 있음을 알게 된다. 그 후, 망토를 두른 사람들이 나타나 그들을 다른 세계로 데려왔다는 말을 들었다.

Yagi Takeru has been living in the Touma family's house since his parents are gone. He was raised by Touma Rokunosuke, the head of the house. He is surrounded by many people such as Yamato Takeshi, his best friend-cum-rival from the kendo club, the Shiratori sisters, Kotono and Asuka, and his childhood friend, Oosu Seri. Life has been blissful until one day, an earthquake strikes the school and everything changes. Takeru awakens to find that the school looks as if it has been abandoned for centuries and reduced to ruins. He also realize that all the teachers and students have disappeared as well. He meets up with Seri and Asuka and they fled from the ruins, only to realize that the town they used to live in is completely empty. Subsequently, people wrapped in cloaks appear before him. They were told that they have been brought to another world.
