고등학교 남학생인 코타 하세가와는 노란색 포피치 퍼린을 좋아하는 소년입니다. 우연히 같은 학교에 다니는 유키 미즈노와 만나게 되는데, 유키는 마이 멜로디 토끼를 좋아하는 소년입니다. 유키는 코타에게 산리오의 귀여운 캐릭터를 좋아하는 것은 부끄러워할 일이 아니라고 말합니다. 코타, 유키, 슌스케 요시노, 라이 니시미카와 세이이치로 미나모토는 함께 캐릭터를 좋아하는 마음을 부끄러워하지 않고 받아들이는 법을 배웁니다.

The project's premise follows Kouta Hasegawa, a high school boy that loves the yellow Pom Pom Purin dog. By mere coincidence, he ends up attending the same school as Yuu Mizuno, a boy who likes the bunny My Melody. Yuu tells Kouta that there's nothing to be ashamed of for liking Sanrio's cute characters. Together, Kouta, Yuu, Shunsuke Yoshino, Ryou Nishimiya, and Seiichiro Minamoto learn to accept their love of the characters instead of feeling embarrassed.
