고쿠는 신의 눈이라는 특별한 능력을 가진 탐정이다. 과거 경찰관으로서 동료의 살인 사건을 수사하던 중, 상부의 압력으로 수사를 중단해야 했지만 계속해서 진실을 파헤치려 했다. 그 결과 왼쪽 눈을 잃게 되었지만, 위기에 처했을 때 신비한 단체의 도움으로 인공 눈을 이식받게 되었다. 이 눈은 세계 모든 컴퓨터 네트워크와 연결되어 있어 그는 전 세계의 컴퓨터를 조종할 수 있게 되었다.

However, he continue investigating, and he lost his left eye. When he was about to be killed, a mysterious group helped him and transplant an artificial eye.
