테일러 박사와 그의 아들 맥스는 아프리카에서 고생물 탐사를 진행 중이었습니다. 맥스의 가장 친한 친구인 렉스도 함께였죠. 맥스가 공룡 이미지가 새겨진 마법의 돌 slabs를 발견하자, 소년들과 친구 조에가 공룡들에게 도움을 청하는 신호를 받게 됩니다. 악당 조직 '알파 갱'을 이끄는 악당 박사 Z가 시간 여행을 통해 공룡들을 사냥하여 세상을 지배하려는 음모를 꾸미고 있었던 것입니다. 맥스, 렉스, 그리고 친구 조에가 세계를 누비며 박사 Z와 알파 갱을 물리치고 공룡들을 구해야 하는 임무를 맡게 됩니다.

Dr. Taylor was on a paleontology mission with his son, Max in Africa. Rex, Max's best friend, joins along as well. When Max had stumbled across some magic stone slabs with images of dinosaurs, the boys and their friend Zoe were being called out by the dinosaurs for help. It seems that an evil organization called the "Alpha Gang", led by the nefarious Dr. Z, traveled back in time to hunt down the dinosaurs so that they could take over the world by using those dinosaurs. It is up to Max, Rex, and their friend Zoe to travel around the world, defeating Dr. Z and the Alpha Gang while hunting down the dinosaurs.
