한국어 번역화성야곡
이야기는 1923년 8월~9월의 옛 도쿄, 쇼와 12년의 도쿄를 배경으로 합니다. 당시 도쿄는 과거와 현재, 부유층과 빈곤층, 선과 악이 공존하는 극단적인 모습을 보여줍니다. 말이 끄는 마차와 자동차, 칼과 권총, 귀족과 사업가가 공존하는 도시입니다.
부유한 상류층 여성이 젊은 미남 타카에게 끌리게 됩니다. 타카와 그의 동생은 도시의 범죄 조직인 야쿠자와 어느 정도는 강제적으로 연관되어 있는 듯 보입니다. 이 여성의 아름다운 젊은 하녀 사라도 타카와 만나게 되고, 이로 인해 비극, 열정, 그리고 불명예로 이어질 수밖에 없는 갈등이 발생합니다. 그러나 시간이 흐르고 날이 지날수록, 시청자는 끔찍한 운명이 다가오고 있음을 깨닫게 됩니다.

The story takes place in old Tokyo, the Tokyo of August-September 1923 (Showa 12). At this moment in time, the city is a mixture of extremes... past and present, rich and poor, good and bad. This is a city where we see both horsecarts and motorcars, swords and pistols, lords and businessmen.
A wealthy woman from an upper-class family finds herself attracted to a handsome young man, Taka. He and his younger brother seem to be allied, perhaps not entirely willingly, with some of the city's criminal underground (Yakuza). The lady's lovely young maidservant, Sara, meets him too, and a conflict ensues which can only lead to tragedy, passion, and dishonor. But, as events move on, and the days pass, the viewer sees a terrible date coming closer...
