시골에서 소외감을 느끼던 고등학교 중퇴생 니나 이시다는 도쿄로 이사 온다. 첫날부터 어려움을 겪고 아파트에 갇히게 된 그녀는 좋아하는 기타리스트 모오카 카와라기를 만난다. 두 사람은 거리 공연을 함께 하며 결국 네 명의 다른 소녀들과 함께 밴드를 결성한다. 각자의 고민을 안고 있지만, 음악에 대한 열정이 그들의 꿈을 이어가게 한다.
