옛날 옛날, 마법과 과학이 공존하는 세계가 있었습니다. 신은 인간의 잠재력을 두려워해 세계를 과학의 세계 '엘데'와 마법의 세계 '판다벨'로 나누었습니다. 판다벨에서는 어느 날 무서운 마녀 세느릴론이 부활했습니다. 세느릴론은 두 세계를 지배하기 위해 '힘의 열쇠'를 찾아 헤매고 있습니다.
엘데 출신의 소년 소타는 신비로운 빨간 망토 소녀 아카즈즈키와 그녀의 말하는 늑대 동반자 발을 만납니다. 소타가 세느릴론이 찾는 열쇠임을 알게 되자, 아카즈즈키와 발, 그리고 다른 요정 무슈테른들이 소타를 세느릴론과 그녀의 악몽의 무리 '나이트메리아인'으로부터 보호하기 위해 싸웁니다.

Long, long ago, there existed a world of magic and science. God, afraid of man's potential, split the world in to the world of science, Elde, and the world of magic, Fandavale. One day in Fandavale, a terrible witch named Cendrillon revives. Cendrillon plots to rule both worlds, and searches for the "key" which holds tremendous power.
A young boy from Elde by the name of Souta meets a mysterious girl from Fandavale, Akazukin, and her talking wolf companion, Val. Souta learns that he is the key Cendrillon is searching for. Now it is up to Akazukin, Val, and the other Fairy Musketeers to protect Souta from Cendrillon and her Nightmarelians who wish to obtain the power he mysteriously possesses.
