푸미와 아키라는 어린 시절부터 친한 친구였지만, 푸미가 이사를 가면서 멀어졌다. 10년 후, 두 사람은 고등학교 신입생으로 다시 만났다. 오랜 시간이 흐른 만큼 서로를 다시 이해하는 데 어려움을 겪지만, 고등학교 생활의 고민과 어려움을 때로는 혼자 극복하고 때로는 서로에게 힘이 되어주며 성장해 나간다.
